By fulfilling the requirements of the new Proclamation of Charities and Societies No 621/2009, registered as Ethiopian Residents’ Charity and obtained its new license in 2013 And re-registered in 2019 under the new proclamation 1113/2019 Governed by the general assembly and board members and it’s a board-led organization in the new civil society law amendment in 2019.
CcSa improves access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene for communities affected by conflict, displacement, and climate shocks. Our WASH interventions include rehabilitating water systems, maintaining boreholes, improving sanitation, promoting hygiene, supporting water quality, and strengthening community capacity for sustainable management, helping prevent disease and improve resilience.
CcSa protects the safety, dignity, and rights of vulnerable people affected by conflict, displacement, and disasters. Our protection interventions include GBV prevention and response, psychosocial support, legal referrals, protection monitoring, and community-based initiatives, promoting inclusion, safeguarding at-risk groups, and strengthening protection from violence, abuse, exploitation, and discrimination.
